Approximately 600 children in Chilliwack go to school hungry on Monday mornings.

Currently, most students in need are provided with breakfast, recess snacks and lunch each day at school. Unfortunately, the lack of access to food does not end when the weekend arrives.

The Starfish Pack Program is dedicated to making a difference. Weekly volunteers fill backpacks with food which are then sent home with eligible students every Friday during the school year.

$575 feeds a student in need for an entire school year and 100% of all donations go directly to the purchase of food for the backpacks.
